I have an old Oliver rolling mill I bought cheap this year. The
rollers have some light rust pits, not light enough just to be
polished out however. I am a fairly competent machinist so I was
thinking of setting the rollers up between centers on the lathe and
running the toolpost grinder against them and regrinding/repolishing.
So anyone else ever done this? What grit/hardness wheels and how did
you achieve the final polish? felice@casco.net is Felice Luftschein
