Regarding Juried Images

Hello, Once I have created some nice looking images for jury, what
happens when that particular piece sells before it is juried? As
long as the image is representative of most of my work, can I
continue to use a good slide for many shows to come? Or do I need
to keep shooting new images as items sell?

Thanks, Diana

Hi Diana,

What happens is that you have some money in your pocket ;-)! But
seriously, as long as the image remains representative of your
current work, you may continue to use it – as long as the piece was
made within any time period specified by a show prospectus (some
shows require that jury slides depict work made within the last year
or whatever). Most jewelers I know, however, put together a set of
slides which they use for about a year and then they shoot a new set.
