A friend of mine in San Antonio, TX, needs a reference to a
goldsmith and/or watchmaker and/or platinum smith in her area. She
has two pieces to be worked on. One is a platinum ring set with pave
diamonds. The other is a very precious–both in dollars and in
sentimental value–antique lavaliere watch owned by her grandmother.
The watch needs a crystal, and none of the watchmakers she has
contacted have been able to supply the right size/shape.
Overriding requirement in both cases is a truly trustworthy
