Hello, Many years ago I used to be able to get red gold solder which
was red! Nowadays its called red but is yellow the only thing
different is melting point, does anyone know where you can get
solder of the correct colour, or do you have your own way around

Hello All , There is a problem in matching red gold and its solders .
I will usually re-Karat my metal 2-4 Kts lower and use that as a
solder , it will be very hard but will have a good color match .
Otherwise fit your seam perfectly solder with best available
solder smallest amount possible , and burnish your seam afterwards
