I have a stack of old red rubber pads once used to protect/seal the
top of the vacuum casting machine. They’re all “well used”, with
rather deep round grooves where hot flasks have been set upon them. I
hate to waste anything if it can be used for another purpose. Before
I throw these out, I’m wondering if there is any other possible use
for these things?
