Is there anyone out there who could recommend a casting house for titanium? Right now I am designing components and having them CNC machined, but there are limitations there which I’d like to be free from.
I’ve spoken to some casting companies in the aerospace business who can do it, but at quite a cost. I was also advised to try searching for service providers in the dental industry, but I have not been able to find anything. In any case, I know that it’s a difficult metal to cast, so I understand that my options may be limited.
One last option I’ve looked into but have not pursued is 3D printing titanium using DMLS. If anyone has experience with that and wants to chime in, would definitely be interested to hear how it went!
