Quiestion! Do you know the answer?

Hi Folks,

A friend asked me a question, which frankly, I had never
pondered. Why are findings called findings? Does anyone
know?

Regards,

Skip

Hi Skip,

I have heard they are called findings because they used to be
made from little scraps laying around, or “findings”, of metal.

Actually they should be called “losings”, because that is what I
am constantly doing to them! –
