Yes, they’re not pretty, but they are glazed and ready to melt metal and pour. Actually the molten metal will help spread the flux around and they’ll look better soon.
I agree that I think that problem is that they didn’t get hot enough. The two torches that you described should have been plenty hot enough, so I’m not sure what the problem was? But again, they’re ready to go now!
Also, I think there’s enough flux in your crucibles that you don’t need to add any for at least a pour or two.
