Hi John Burgess! Many thanks for the indepth info on polishing
nephrite. It’s a little overwhelming since I have no experience
what so ever with lapidary 
I still have questions regarding
finished jadeite (chinese jade). Can I use the 50,000 diamond
paste on home-made polishing sticks, tin oxide slurry, and the
various papers you’ve recommended for finished nephrite with
indentations? The finished jadeites I will be working with
includes: pendants, cabochons, and bracelets…Cheers back at
