Polishing compounds

I use a spray bottle… 1/4 to 1/3 Dawn. 1/3 clear or yellow ammonia and 1/3 to 1/2 water. proportions are easily varied… too much Dawn makes it too thick, too much ammonia makes for excess fumes… there always will be some fumes. Water can be used to dilute if too much Dawn makes it too thick… good for cleaning anything with hard surfaces, counter tops, dishes, … dirty jewelry cleans up well with a soft tooth brush…grease and grime wash off quickly. Polishing compounds have greasy wax mixed in… Dawn/ammonia will wash it off without too much scrubbing. Happy cleaning!
