In the Archives, I found this great article from Mr. Blaine Lewis
from the New Approach School
In this article, quoted below he mentions the use of a product called
Place-It As an aid in soldering platinum operations.
I have here a similar product here, called Castofix and I wish to
use it for the same technique Mr. Blaine Lewis suggest. There for my
question is: will Castofix be ok for the platinum instead of
Place-It? I’m worried about contamination. [I will be doing welding
not soldering]
Where I am still [Pune India] I cannot get product or tools for
Platinum work, as no one, work with platinum locally.
