Platinum tweezers

I was told that tungsten tipped tweezers would not melt and not
contaminate platinum. How do I make them ie… riveting to another pair of
tweezers, or soldering, and if there is carbide in the tungsten does that
contaminate platinum ( I think so) Thanx

I think the best way is to simply purchase a pair of tungsten tweezers
from a tool supplier in the trade. You can also obtain tungsten rod from
a welding supply to modify a pair of cross locking tweezers. Call me for
instruction on how to modify. Another good thing is to solder platinum
tips on a pair of tweezers. Dont use tungsten containing carbide. Have a
platinum day
