Platinum PMC

It is true that for a short time, Mitsubishi Materials made PMC in
platinum. They have discontinued this product, mostly, I think,
because of the extremely high firing temperatures required to sinter
the clay. A possible alternative is for this person to make her ring
in silver PMC, then have it molded and cast in platinum.

I have been searching in vain for about Platinum PMC. I
know it exists, and is at least available in Japan. Does anyone
know if there is anyone who imports it to the US?

My understanding is that the burnout temperature for PMC Platinum is
higher than most of the equipment (kilns) that American metal clay
artists are currently using, so it is not imported to the US.
