Thankyou all for your responses to my soldering question/problem.
Looks like my supplier sent me some plated bracelets. I had asked
about plating before placing my first order last year, and was told
that their bracelets aren’t plated or laquered, so perhaps they were
covering up problems on a few bracelets. I’m going to bring it up
with her. I was able to recoup two out of three bracelets with some
time consuming sanding and repolishing. This brings up two other
questions, but I’ll put them in another message. Thanks again, Cathy
