I am a new member in the forum and interested to know more about the
gold and copper solution properties and the their physical properties
like ductility, malleability etc.

I’d suggest that you consider buying "The Theory and Practice of
Goldsmithing by Prof. Dr. Erhard Brepohl.

It’s not cheap, and having said that, I wish that I had bought it
much earlier because the in it would have saved me from
some considerable moments of grief.
