Philadelphia, Lancaster area attractions

I’m going to be teaching in King of Prussia, PA then doing the Long’s
Park show in Lancaster next month. Are there any galleries, stores,
rockhounding opportunities, or other jewelry must-sees in that area?
Great restaurants or shopping opportunities?

Thanks!
Noel

Hi Noel,

Here are visitor links I think will be most helpful for you to get
around.

For travelers, the main street in town usually has the most unique
single owner shops and restaurants vs chain stores.

Highlight in Downtown Philadelphia: Philadelphia Museum of Art,
Jewelers row on Samson St., The historical district has lots of
museums.

King of Prussia has the King of Prussia Mall - high end shopping
complexes and dining everywhere. It is considered a shoppers
paradise. Lancaster Area: Lancaster Museum of Art, Tangers Outlets,
Mt Gretna has a nice art community, Downtown Lancaster has an array
of unique shops, Downtown Lititz has also has an array of unique
shops.

I hope this is helpful. Have a successful show experience and enjoy
your visit.

Noel,

This may be too late, but try to visit the wonderful little town of
Lititz, due no. of Lancaster. Great old Sutter Hotel for lunch,
pretzel store/bakery, chocolate factory/store, many little stores, a
park in the middle of town w/ stream running through. I’m not sure
whether they have been awarded “All American City”, but should be.
Much history there. Pennsylvania Dutch (like everything else around
there)
