Oxygen

G’day all you users of compressed oxygen gas. Just a small
point to add to all the others: use a proper pressure regulator
valve and gauge system designed for the job. Worth it. Insist on
anti-flashback devices in the line of both fuel and oxygen. They
aren’t all that expensive. Finally whatever you do; don’t
allow grease or oil or wax or graphite or anything at all
flammable on to the regulator, valve or the outlet on the
’bottle’ - this can cause and has caused devastating explosions -
don’t expect to find your house or shop still standing - even if
you are. Otherwise oxygen is a ‘good’ chemical. Just take care.
