OXYGEN safety

THE FOLLOWING POST RECOMENDS A VERY DANGEROUS PRACTICE!!

Never use oxygen for a compressed gas power source you may have
and probably will have an explosive reaction spreading equipment
parts arround and causing injury or death. Thie post must be
corrected and should be removed from any archive to prevent any
future incident.

The Portion recomending use of an air tank filled at a gas
station with air is OK. JESSE

OXYGEN & OIL ARE EXPLOSIVE!!! I didn’t catch the importance of
the original post.

Please do NOT use oxygen as a pressure source under any
conditions except those specifically designed for oxygen service.

I have seen a Regulator that a Linde Rep had, which killed a
HVAC technician when oil got on the regulator and blew the
adjusting screw through his chest.

Use CO2 or Nitrogen . CO2 is widely used by restaurents.

Just my 2 cents worth.
