A chain is very difficult to clean after sulfric acid bath or
polishing.
After the acid cleaning of gold or silver the acid may stay in
unreachable areas of the jewellery and may be dangerous when you
heat the metal again. To get rid of the acid I heat the piece in
water with a little karbonat added to it. After polishing I boil the
piece in water with detergent. To dry the piece put it in a bowl of
