Orchid's gallery

Hi Dave: Thank you for your kind offer to do a scan for me to
include in Orchid’s Gallery. Will check to see if there is
someone local first before imposing on your time. Which is best:
slide or photo? Would a large photo be better than a small one?

or negative or even black and white. You can also get a scan if u’r
n a fair sz city @ any computer svc bureau (lk under imagesetting
or typsetting in the yellow pages). If I do it I need you to mail it

Susan: no problem. Probably the best would be a good high quality print,
8x10, but a slide or really anything you have would work ok. Can’t do 2
1/4x 2 1/4 transparencies though, have to buy those at the service bureau
here. You could look up under “graphic designers” in the yellow pages and
ask one of them where a good cheap place to get a scan would be if you’re
in a hurry. You need to get it scanned and saved as a 72 dpi jpeg file
about 5 inches wide. Then you can attach that and send it to Orchid. If you
do decide to send it here just make sure you included an SASE so I can scan
it and send it right back to you…DAve
