There have been some inquiries posted recently asking for sources for
purchasing colored gemstones and one of those having been mentioned
is Creative Gems in Bangkok Thailand. Last month I visited them and
toured their facility in Bangkok where they have a large and very
sophisticated operation. The office and cutting factory there are
quite impressive, they have any gemstone imaginable, either on hand
or readily available, and they also produce items to each customer’s
individual specifications.
I saw mountains of rough materials and an overwhelming assortment of
finished faceted stones of all colors, shapes, and varieties. It was
like taking a stroll through King Solomon’s mines or Ali Baba’s
treasure cave. The directors and their staff were entirely
professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. I definitely
