Yes it is possible. You buy ear post if you want to save time
and have the cash or credit to sit on stock that might sit idle.
Use.85mm wire, cut it into 11. mm lengths. Flatten one end and
slightly point the other (not to sharp). If you have a cheap or
old pair of side cutters and then a take #68 drill and try to
dent it. This should make an indention in the blade. Use this
indention to make the retainer ring at the end of post. Don’t
squeeze to hard or you’ll cut off the end of the post.
