Orchid Contributions

Hi All. I recently realized that the monthly commitment I had made
to support Orchid had somehow expired. In signing up to renew it, I
was shocked to learn that there are VERY few Orchidians who have
signed up for a monthly financial commitment. I always assumed that
LOTS of you realized the value of Orchid and had stepped up to
support it.

What is Orchid worth to you?? Would you miss it if it were gone??
Considering the thousands of you out there who are benefiting from
the shared knowledge that Orchid brings you FOR FREE, I am
challenging each and every one of you to dig deep and consider making
a monthly commitment. It’s easy and secure. Would $5 a month kill
you? $10?? Do it and you can stop feeling guilty about getting all
this info without helping to pay for the structure that makes it
possible. You do feel guilty, don’t you?

Yes…I would miss Orchid deeply if it were to go away…

And I’m on dialup, so I can’t even utilize a number of the high end
resources of Ganoksin…

What I’ve done for a number of years now is twice annual $20
contributions…

And this year it’ll be 3, because of the deal that Gerry Lewy had
with his setting notes a while back (Thanks, Gerry…!)…

Whichever way one does it, I know Hanuman appreciates them all…

And heck…when you look at what he’s put together…

Thanks for the reminder. I just renewed my subscription. I’m no tax
expert but I believe it is deductable as a business expense for
subscriptions to trade journals…

Good Call Allan:

The support and opinions that all the people here give so
generously is priceless…especially to someone like me who is
not in a position to take classes just yet, and must fumble along on
my own.

It is really easy to sign up on PayPal and have any amount you wish
to give taken out with no fuss. I did that as soon as I realized that
the Orchid Digest was going to be such a wonderful place.

I am totally in awe of so many people here. Their expertise and
knowledge is incredible and the fact that Hanuman and his group have
put together this forum for us all to benefit from, is quite a
wonderful feat.

Thankyou so much to all the people who contribute and use their
valuable time to answer questions and give their help when someone
asks. The whole world could beneifit from adopting the way you give
so generously to people you may never meet, both professionals and
those of us just starting out.
