opti-con to fill deep scratches in the glass of jewelry cases.

What you want is the material they use to seal and make invisible
chips in windshields.
One of the goldsmiths I work with uses Krazy Glue (NOT Super Glue,
he says) to fill scratches in stones–says it polishes up invisibly.
Maybe it would work on glass too.
