I have a wedding band that has an inset band of ironstone opal. One
of the two pieces of opal that make up the band has started to chip.
I’m very fond of the ring and would love to know if there is any way
to save it. I’ve read that it might be possible with polymer
impregnation, but that it needs a specialist to handle it. Does
anyone out there do this sort of thing?
