[NYC] Summer intensives classes at Jewelry Arts Institute

During July and August we offer week-long intensive classes. Each
session is Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 6:00pm with one hour Break
for lunch followed by three hours of optional bench time from 6:00pm
to 9:00pm.

Students of all levels of skill are Welcome in every intensive
class, as all projects and techniques are taught through One-on-one
demonstration at the student’s wondering if we could pace. As in our
regular sessions, there is a ratio of approximately one teacher to
every four or five students.

AUGUST INTENSIVE CLASSES

Wax Intensive- August 9th through 13th

Monday through friday 11:00am to 6:00pm with one hour break for
lunch. Learn how to carve your designs in wax and have Them cast
into custom jewelry. Students of all levels of skill are welcome"all
projects and techniques are taught Through one-on-one demonstration
at the student’s pace.

22k Gold Intensive - August 23rd-27th

Monday August 23rd through Friday August 27th

Gold alloying - with Jeanette Caines. Monday, Aug. 23rd, 11:00am to
6:00pm (one hour break for lunch).

Learn to properly prepare your 22k gold so it will fuse and
granulate beautifully. Say goodbye to bubbles and cracking.

Fusing in Gold - with Jeanette Caines. Tuesday, aug 24th, 11:00am to
6:00pm (one hour break for lunch)

Conquer every aspect of making and fusing your bezels in 22k gold.

Granulation - with Jeanette Caines. Wednesday and thursday, feb. Aug
25th and 26th. 11:00am to 6:00pm (one hour break for lunch).

What really makes granulation work. All mysteries revealed!

Soldering in gold - with Jeanette Caines. Friday Aug. 27th, 11:00am
to 6:00pm (one hour break for lunch).

All the gold solders explained in detail… When to use each of them
and how much heat it takes.
