Nitrile gloves

Hello Beth, My pharmacist special ordered gloves for me as he didn’t
stock the really small sizes. Try your pharmacist and if you’ve
been using one of the big chain stores, go to a smaller operation
who is more anxious to get and keep customers with good service.

Beth, I don’t know where you are, but if you have one near you Costco
(warehouse store) sells them by the box (the latex ones, haven’t
looked for the nitrile ones). I use them for a lot of things around
the house, so I keep them in but don’t want to store cases of them.

The other option would be to ask a local doctor, vet, or dentist
whether you could buy a box or two from them.

Good luck!

Dear Beth, The only place I’ve ever bought Nitrile gloves is from
Harbor Freight. They have a web site I think is www.harborfreight
.com. I don’t remember about sizes. Great prices and good delivery.

It might be worth you time and effort contacting a local medical
supply store or durable medical equipment vendor in your community or
it might not hurt to ask your doctor’s or dentist’s office if they
would sell you a box or two. Due to the increase of latex allergies
amongst patients, most offices or providers have switched from latex
to Nitrile gloves. Good luck!

Beth, For nitrile gloves try http://store.yahoo.com/eq-plus/, it
looks as if they will ship single boxes. Easier tho, you might try
a local hospital supply store to save on shipping. When I worked in
a lab, I always used powder free because the powder sucked the
moisture right out of my skin.
