Nickle plating old flatware

I intend a project which involves reworking and replating old silver
plate knives, forks and spoons. This would involve cuting, forming
and
resoldering. The base metal looks to be a brass or bronze plated with
silver.

How would I nickle plate the completed pieces? How would I silver
plate the nickle plated pieces if I so needed? These items would no
longer be used in food service, but could be touched or handeled

I found a product called " instant silver - amazing silver plating
formula" on eBay. It looks dicy. - anyone?

I went to a site Finishing.com and found some anwsers.

Thank You in advance for Your kind consideration
