It is in darkness where new growth begins both physically in nature
as well as in our psyches. The forms I chose to carve mimic the
human form and elements of botany, connecting the physical object to
these cycles of growth. This connection creates a talisman or power
object of awareness. The simplistic and beautiful act of wearing and
feeling my jewelry becomes a catalyst for the wearer into
self-intimacy and understanding.
