[New Orchid Gallery] Giacomo

Giacomo

I am involved in the arts since I was a child (5-6y.o.). I’ve had
learned the arts in my mother’s family (very skillful Italians) and I
will live with this “virus” all my life…I like to share my
knowledge with people involved in this trade…I love dogs (I have
5!!), music, and making videos, especially about jewelry making…I
would like to find about new techniques in the trade, and love the
ancient techniques and skills in making jewelry… I am living in
Romania, where people are lost their education and interest for the
arts, and this is one of the main reason I am here on the internet,
to meet different kind of people…

I want to take a moment for sharing, what for me, are some of my most
wondrous and inspirational moments I’ve had in long time. You, your
work, and the videos are incredible. I want to thank you for sharing,
it means a lot to someone that is trying to learn all this on my own,
teaching myself. If you are ever in Wisconsin, LOL, look me up and
we’ll have a beer. I doubt that I’ll ever get to Romania…peace…
and thank you so much for your generous sharing.

Hello Giacomo,

Welcome to Orchid. I have to tell you that I’ve enjoyed and learned
from your videos. You are an inspiration. Thank you so much for your
contributions.

I also want to express my respect for all Orchidians who have
English as a second (or third!) language. It is amazing to realize
that these people are so articulate in more than one language.

Must Humbly,

Judy in Kansas, who thinks she should really make an effort to learn
another language - they say that keeping the brain active as one
ages is a good thing!

Hello

I also want to express my respect for all Orchidians who have
English as a second (or third!) language. It is amazing to realize
that these people are so articulate in more than one language

However, it’s not always easy since expressions sometimes take a
complete other direction in deffernt languages. I still enjoy the
exchange of knowledge even having a hard time finding the specific
words. Ganoksin in matter of fact has only one language and it’s not
english or american,it’s the “jewelry language”!

Judy in Kansas, who thinks she should really make an effort to
learn another language - they say that keeping the brain active as
one ages is a good thing!"

I’m familiar with four languages being a kind of belgian citizen.
Most of the time I still feel myself stupid when I compare my
knowledge in this branche with other persons -) Give it a try Judy by
learning “flemisch” which is close to dutch, I’ll give you free
education -)

In all honnesty, this is a truly remarkable platform where very well
educated people join their knowledge with sometimes complete newbies
and never asking anything in return. Tank you all for being a part
of this memberschip !

Have fun and enjoy,
Pedro
