New merchant worries

I am looking for a product for resale- I found a merchant out of
Mumbai, India- the prices look good- but they only accept bank
transfers directly into their bank account. I am extremely
uncomfortable with this. Help?

Are you refering to CCavenue ?

There are basically working ut of singapore with back end operations
in Delhi … Quite a good service and cheap too. I would recommend
them . (I am just as customer of there’s) talk to them they are
flexible in the discount rates.

I suggest you ask for the names and contact info for several other
American customers of this company. Then call them! And why not post
the name of this company? Other Orchidians may have experience with
them.

In view of all the scams on the Net, we guess they are just being
careful since a TT (Telegraphic Transfer) is the safest and fastest
way to receive money from overseas.
