New gallery looking for designers

I am opening a Jewelry Designer’s Gallery in a high-end market in
Fairhope Alabama. Fairhope is the host to one of the largest art
shows in the South. I am a jeweler myself. I have owned a retail
store and I have had my pieces in several galleries. I understand the
aggravations with both sides. My website wismargallery.com is under
renovation, but you can visit and see what I do.

If your pieces are well executed and you would be interested in
having your designs in the gallery please e-mail pictures of your
work or send me your website address.

Please no beaders. We already have a couple of high-end beaders that
will be represented.

Please respond to billwismar@wismargallery.com.

We are very busy getting the gallery ready to open, so please give
us time to contact you.

Thank you,
Bill

Bill,

I went to your gallery (website), you do beautiful work, thanks for
sharing with us. I noticed that one of your selling points was the
weight of your castings. I also use this as one of my selling points
and was wondering if you get price resistance or any resistance to
the higher price because of it.

I do wholesale shows, and I have a lot of people tell me “well, if
you made them lighter they would be more affordable”. Which is true,
but I started making jewelry because I wanted something more
substantial than what I was finding. Just curious as to how you
handled that.
