This piece is an exploration of jewelry’s ability to serve in both a
decorative and utilitarian role, while taking advantage of its
inherent mobility by giving it a task that the wearer might require
of it at any point in time. If one is to wear a piece of jewelry,
why not let it earn its keep?" The rings were shown in the SNAG 2003
