It is in darkness where new growth begins both physically in nature as well as in our psyches. The forms I chose to carve mimic the human form and elements of botany, connecting the physical object to these cycles of growth. This connection creates a talisman or power object of awareness. The simplistic and beautiful act of wearing and feeling my jewelry becomes a catalyst for the wearer into self-intimacy and understanding.

Azurea or Blue in Latin is the essence of woman. It is fierce. It is soft and hard all at once just like the water our world is mostly comprised of.
