Minimum core set for silver finishing

All,

I’m getting into silver casting and machining this summer. I don’t
want to spend an arm and a leg on new polishing machines.

What would anyone suggest as the minimum core set of grits and
polishes to refine my finish from end-milled to store quality?

I suggest you take a look at the book “Tumble Finishing for Handmade
Jewelry: Mass Finishing on a Small Scale” by Judy Hoch. I have no
affiliation but IMO Ms. Hoch really knows her stuff.
