Mines @ The Phillipines

Hi Folks,

I have a question for the group. The Phillipine Islands are volcanic
islands and being so I was wondering if they commercially mine
gold/silver, and gemstones there. I was also wondering if they mine stones
what kinds and where can I get some info on the geology of the country. I
know that we have members from the Phillipines in Orchid so I hope that
this is a pretty easy question. Thanks.

Skip,

Yes, we are already commercially mining gold, silver and other gemstones
such as Quartz here in the Philippines. I will try to find out where you
can get more on the geology of the Philippines.
