I attended a Michael David Sturlin workshop in Chicago this past
weekend and wanted to let all know how awesome it was. There was a
mix of skill sets of the students attending and Michael was able to
relate to each one of us. He is a wonder teacher–knowlegeable,
patient, able to articulate exactly what we needed to know (and
more) and he is truly a kind and gentle spirit.
I enjoyed the weekend and learned so much that I have signed up for
one of his classes to learn additional skills at the Bead and Button
show in Milwaukee where I live. If anyone ever has a chance to
attend one of his workshops, I highly recommend it.
Thank you again Michael! See you in Chicago. (not a sales pitch –
just a happy beginner goldsmith)
If you ever get a chance to got to Phoenix and see Michael’s Studio
or attend one of his classes I would recommend this.
I think Michael should teach a class of how to arrange your work
space and environment. I know the first time I was in there I was
amazed at how neat and well arranged it showed a lot of discipline.
I agree. I was absolutely amazed at his wonderful studio. Of course
the instruction is fabulous!
I was fortunate because there had been 3 others scheduled in the
class and everyone else cancelled due to emergencies, etc. so I was
able to have a one-on-one class with Michael. How wonderful!
