Has anyone heard of a material called Mexican Black Opal that
somewhat resembles fiber optics in that it is chatatoyant. The
material was bought in New Mexico, source was stated to be
Mexico?
Steve, Yes, I have heard of it, in fact my mother, knowing my
love of opals, found some for me!! I don’t even claim to be an
expert or even a novice on this, all I know is that I have a few,
they are supposedly pretty pricy and they are beautiful! -amery
