Methods of casting that can be used for camp/teaching / modelmak

Hi Kieran My sentiments exactly… insurance and safety are a
major concern when teaching young children… I believe that if
it is going to be taught by someone, then do it using all safety
precautions.Melting white metal over a campfire in a stainless
ladle that has a 2ft long handle and pouring into an open mold
did not seem anymore dangerous than melting marshmallows on a
stick…Melting with a welding torch at 1800oF and above in my
opinion could be a diferent situation. Thanx for letting me know
about the "cuttle fish " dust being dangerous…although unaware
of the danger, I always wear a dust mask and i would recommend
that to anyone.Added 2 more photos last night Daniel Grandi
