Maun pliers spring

Hi all. One of my favorite pliers are my Maun parallel-jaw pliers.
The other day, the spring snapped, scaring the hell out of me and
sending a piece whizzing past my face. They’re at least 10 years
old. I called Rio and discovered that the design has changed, so the
old spring is no longer being made and the new one won’t fit. Damn!

Anyone know where to get a spring? If not the original, at least one
that would work? Thanks!

Allan,

If you still have the remains of the spring, you could make a
replacement using music wire.
