I create one-of-a-kind and limited edition nature inspired Art Jewelry using fine silver metal clay.I also create one-of-a-kind sterling jewelry. My background as a traditional silversmith helped me see the possibilities for adding texture in a different way to my jewelry with metal clay.
I have an MFA from RIT in Rochester NY and currently a Roycroft Renaissance Artisan in East Aurora, NY.
I have an extensive perennial garden to use as inspiration and work with metal clay slip.

Dimensions: 2 1/4in.L x 2 1/4in. W x 5/8in. D

An armature of cork clay was created over which I glued actual leaves, then painting on silver clay slip to create the back of this piece.I covered the back of these leaves with unfired silver clay leaves to which added cz’s set in metal clay. The back is as elaborate as the front.
