Making cones with bezel block & punch

Hi All -

I would like to know how to use a bezel block & punch for making
cones as well as conical shaped bezels - the difference in my mind is
no hole vs. hole. I understand that you can start with a tube for the
bezel - do I use the same sized tube as ordinarily I would for a tube
setting, or do I start larger & try to compress it? What about for
the cone? I assume I start with sheet. Is there a ratio re diameter
of disc to diameter of final cone? Where does depth get factored in?
I don’t even know if I am asking the right questions. I’d appreciate
all of your suggestions.

Thanks,
Sheila
