I want to make a “squeaky wheel” pin (brooch). I was thinking a tube
rivet as the hub, holding two wheels which, when moved against each
other, squeak. The bottom wheel is stationary, and has the pin back,
the top wheel moves.
What materials to use?
Bird call thingies are made with a wood cylinder and a metal key
which, when coated with resin and turned, makes chirpy noises… so
I was wondering if one wheel was wood and the other metal… but I
don’t really want to have to mess with resin.
Thanks for any clever ideas,
