Magnetic tumbler spins everything out

i recently bought a used magnetic finisher and i’m having a problem
keeping everything IN the bowl. the bowl is 9" and has around a 100
ring capacity. when i turn up the speed on the tumbler it spins the
water right out of the bowl (even if i have only 2 inches of water).
i’m not even turning it up to half speed. also, it doesn’t really
"tumble" in the bowl, everything just spins. i’ve tried using various
amounts of steel pins with the same results. i have to keep the speed
so low to keep the solution in that it doesn’t accomplish anything
after a 30 min cycle. i’ve used a smaller tumbler in the past and
have never had this problem. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Needs a top. I bought bowls for a Gy-roc vibratory tumbler, They work
great. They are cheap. They are like a donut. You can get them from
