The wax I got was from MSC Industrial supply co. and does have
porosity in the wax. I think they told me it was manufactured by
the Freeman Co.
Ken, have you checked back with MSC? Theyr’e good about
resolving problems with items they sell. They may put you in
touch with their supplier to see if they have a non-porous wax or
if that’s just the nature of the beast.
I’ve needed stuff that was similar to what they had in their
catalog but not stocked by MSC. They sent me right to their
supplier & I ordered from
him. Prices from the supplier where the same or a little less
then from MSC.
