$500 Founders Scholarship for Winter 2014 at Metalwerx As Metalwerx
celebrates its 15th anniversary, we are offering our fourth
scholarship in recognition of Metalwerx’s founders, Karen Christians
and Jennifer “jeff” Bowie. This $500 scholarship has been made
possible by community member donations. It is intended to honor a
dedicated, worthy metalsmithwith the opportunity to expand their
skillset through a course at Metalwerx during the winter 2014
semester.
This award is open to any jeweler or metalsmith who meets the
pre-requisites for a course. The recipient will be chosen based on
images of their metalwork that demonstrate excellence in
craftsmanship and design, as well as their responses to the written
