Lost my book, anyone seen it?

#1

Hello Fellow Orchidians,

I had a friend “borrow” one of my many goldsmithing books, and don’t
ya know, it never made it back. Unfortunately it’s been a while and
I’m a bit vague on the title, and can’t for the life of me figure
out where I bought it.

Here’s what I remember; the title was something like" 1001 tricks
from the goldsmiths shop". It was a small scale publishing effort,
softback, like something you’d do 50 at a time at Kinko’s.

It was not from Brain Press, although it seems like it should be.

I hope someone can help me out with this mystery. I enjoyed that
book and didn’t get much of a chance to read it before it walked off.

Thanks All.

Could it be “Cheap Thrills in the Tool Shop” by Charles
Lewton-Brain?

It sounds like you’re describing “Cheap Tricks from the Jeweler’s
Bench” by Charles Lewton Brain, indeed from Brain Press.

Wonderful book.

Alas, it’s not “Cheap thrills from the tool shop”. Excellent book
though.

Thanks,
