Hi,
Does anyone know of someone who might be interested in tutoring me
in silversmithing/fabrication? I have moved from wire to fabrication
within the last 4 months. I know how to solder, make bezel, prong
and tube settings, and know many of the basic metalsmithing skills
(e.g., sawing, polishing, etc.) I’ve been taking tutoring classes
weekly at a local place but feel that the emphasis is on wax casting
and would like to move ahead in fabrication before trying to learn
wax.
I am based in Los Angeles.
