Hi Orchidians;
I’ve got a small problem. I just designed a platinum wedding
engagement set for a client using thier diamond, a very unusual
antique cushion cut diamond. I thought it would look great if, for
the trim stones, we used the rose cut diamonds Stuller carries.
According to their catalog, they have them in the sizes I need, so I
assumed I’d have no problem getting them. But when I called in the
order, I was informed that they didn’t have them in that size, 2 mm.
They do have them larger, but that will take a big bite out of my
margin, and furthermore, they’ll really be too large for the design.
Do any of you know of a source for consistently cut rose cut
diamonds? Please accept my gratitude in advance.
