[Looking4] Heavy man's sterling rings

Sterling is selling great and I would normally sell white gold, but
I would like to offer heavy sterling men’s pieces. Can any
Orchadians help?

Thanks,

You know, some may be able to do better, but I must say I recently
got some of the sand cast sterling ring blanks from Thunderbird and
they aren’t bad. Rough, but that leaves room for some modification,
polishing setting options, etc. I did cut a few, anneal and resize
without much problem at all. They seemed a bit light, maybe density?
But so far so good.

So, if you want a base to start from…not bad.

Not sterling but waxes… Pretty much your standard run of designs,
too, which can be good or bad, depending. Jo-Ann uses them a lot in
her class…

That was a great resource–are there any other wax pattern vendors
that anyone can suggest?

Thank you!

I googled “wax patterns” with the quotes and got 5 companies
including Paradise. Be aware that most everybody who sells such
things are selling standards, mostly. Sometimes standards are
good…

I live in Ottawa Canada and there is a local co that have many waxes
available.

They are very honest and reliable people. They will also do custom
waxes and casting on request.

Just a happy customer
